The main objective of the program was to raise awareness that: the existence and activities of these industrial associations in the Central European region is a kind of a breaking point, maybe the only way to survive.

In Hungary, during the last decade companies have favored setting up clusters, but after the establishment there is a lot of uncertainty. There is no sufficient connection between the actors, they usually lack a common strategy, do not obtain a sufficient support or resources as they are not aware of the available resources. Fair enough reasons to organize such an event for them.

The conference was held March 27 in Pécs, having one hundred and twenty participants registered from Hungary and the neighboring countries, many clusters represent rural and industrial fomations. Regarding the C2C event, more than 80 representatives were present, representing 50 clusters and cluster development organizations.
