A new centre to improve cooperation of higher education and industrial sector to be established in Szeged

According to László Korányi, the President of National Office For Innovation, the center's main goal will be to help the enterprses and researches to find each other and to promote the business exploitation of scientific results to create marketable products and services. He stated that with the use of the EU's  Structural Funds four centers may be established at four points of the country. He highlighted that the innovation of small and medium enterprises is still a problem to be solved, because until the multinational companies and the acdemic sector achieved significant results and can be considered competitive on EU level, the willingness and capabilities of small and medium sized enterprises are still far from the required level.
